Obtaining a Library Card

Applications for a library card may be obtained from the circulation desk or downloading the application and bringing it into the library. Applicants must provide a Texas drivers license or state issued I.D. card and proof of residency dated within the last 30 days. Acceptable forms of proof of residency include a utility or other bill or piece of official mail addressed to the applicant. The library provides one free card per family, there is a $3 replacement fee to replace that card.

New patrons will be allowed to check out one book on their first visit (sorry, no audio books). Once that book has been returned (must be checked out for 24 hours) the patron will then have full library privileges. There is a limit of 30 materials to be checked out at one time.

If you have an out of state drivers license we offer a provisional library card for 90 days, at which time a new Texas I.D. will be required to reactivate your account.
